best medium/heavy oiler from Brunswick...need suggestions
« on: September 21, 2004, 08:23:49 PM »
Trying to fill a spot between my Animal and my Eraser Pearl Particle for a medium/heavy ball when the lanes start transitioning. I bowl in two leagues, one is a medium oil THS (heavy concentration of oil inside of 10 to 10), I believe the pattern goes out to about 34 feet, the other is more of a reverse block shot (heavy outside of 5, drier as you get inside of that). I've heard good things about the Intense Inferno, any other suggestions? I'm more of a high speed, low rev player, other information you may need to know about what I have right now for equipment and my game is in my profile. Any help is greatly appreciated...

Matt

Looking at your profile, I didn't see any strong reactives with surface in your arsenal.  The Ultimate Inferno could fit nicely between the Animal and EPP, but you may also want to consider the BVP Nemesis, which is plenty strong, but is cleaner in front and more angular at the break than the Ultimate.  Between the two, I like the Nemesis better for house-type conditions, as well as from deeper inside lines.

IMO the Intense would probably be too pushy in front unless you decided to give it a good scuff.

Hope this helps.
