Strike King is most versatile ball that I can remember ever rolling. Shot my best series ever 836 (279-278-279) with the sapphire zone pearl.

I'm not going to lie I woud really like to buy a black Strike King at some point. I haven't seen anyone with talent throw one, but the praise it gets on here makes me curious. I might get one and place it in my testing arsenal.

2handedrook12 I got mine 2 years ago last August liked it but could be just as strong in the back-end as some higher end balls put an weight hole to bring it to negative side and for me it became an all-around ball and it takes surface changes well I go back and forth between 2000 and 5000 and as low as 800 grit depending what I am bowling on it's not an cure-all I have other balls I uses it's just the most versatile.

How do they compare to the soul mates?

I did not own the soul mate but I did roll my friend one day the Strike King is longer and stronger on the other hand the Soul Mate went long with an more flip finish it remind me of the Swarm and also Vintage Rhino with it's movement in the back-end the Strike King reminds me of the Damage with it's length and arcing motion.

I have two of the black Soul and didnt really care for either. It should be stronger then the Strike King but I never put more then a few games on either soul to find out.

The Strike King I have had 3 of and love the ball. I use it as a spare ball and a medium light oil ball. It is a great ball when things are tough to kinda find a safe area to grind it out with. On a ths it is hard to beat. Keeps you out of trouble there as well.

I loved my Strike King but love the vintage LT-48 even more! Neither really compared to the Sapphire Zone solid which I was still throwing about two years ago. Both are much cleaner through the fronts and mids.
