Nemesis & Smokin'?

A friend of mine is getting rid of 2 balls, each have about 20-30 games on them.
Nemesis and Smokin' Inferno.
Covers are in great shape. He wants $50 for both of them.
Is it worth the money. He didn't like the Nemesis, not enough hook. The Smokin, didn't like Carry Down.

Any opinions?

Thanks for the response...

How does the Smokin compare to the Absolute?

I'm thinking of drilling up the Smokin'... for myself.
I haven't rolled a "Big B" since the Fuze line came out.

I have a friend who's lookin for a ball for mediums. He likes Brunswick. He has a Raging Inferno, a Monster (the green one?), and a Blazing Inferno. Would the Nemesis fit in there somewhere for him...He averages about 170-175, 65-years-old, 16 mph, low revs. High Tracker.

No experience with the Smokin', but my Nemesis is seriously impressing me now that it's polished a bit. Very smooth reaction, hits like a walrus. I use it on lighter patterns due to my higher ball speed, though

It's the Green Swamp Monster, that he has.
I had recommended the Ultimate Inferno or Absolute to him, before I ran into these 2 balls.
He needs an oiler, he bowls the ABT tourneys.

I may just sell the Nemesis and drill the SI for myself.
