will it work ? Scorchin' for medium oil

Just asking, well it work if I polish it ?

This really depends upon several factors. I had an Ultimate Inferno (the not-too-distant cousin of the Scorchin') that I polished up quite a bit and used on what I considered to be medium oil. For me, it worked great, but I have high speed and only slightly above average revs. My gut instinct tell me that you'd be ok doing this, but it really will depend upon your style and the amount of oil that you consider to be medium.
