A friend, his Inferno, and back to back 8's
« on: October 24, 2006, 05:55:48 PM »
I have a buddy that recorded his second 800 in as many nights tonight.  805 last night, 804 tonight.  He shot them both with an original Inferno that he got from a friend.  He asked the guy if he had anything laying around that he didn't throw, and since they both throw Brunswick, his friend said he had an original Inferno laying around that he only used for a few games because it was too strong for him.  A refit, and sets of 741 and 785 (not sure on those numbers, I know one was 740-something and the other was 780-something) later, he pops in a couple 8's.  I think he's 26 or 27, and has over 20 800's to his credit.  He's a control cranker, and smooth.  Think Chris Barnes that comes around the ball more.  He can play anywhere with anything . . he shot a 279 with a 12 lb pink house ball once.  I'd love to see what he could do with a Red Zone . .  If anyone remembers seeing my picture on Brunswick's website (it's still in the list, I believe) he's the other guy in the picture that had a 300 the first game out of the box with his Wizard.
