what would be a good layout for a reactive power groove. 2.5" pin for really dry lanes. med- higher revs w/ med ball speed. Something with smooth roll and a still carry. I dont want something that when i move left it rolls out.

I agree with ak with having the pin above the middle finger, and swing the cg to the right.  Swinging the cg will help you carry from inside, but be careful not to swing it too far, because that will cause it to invert the track.

I have a PG and I agree with Just a Bowler.  The PG is way too much ball for really dry lanes.  I put my pin 4.5-5" from my axis (close to my VAL, several inches over my fingers) with the CG roughly stacked below, weighthole on my PAP.  I can swing most of the lane on a fresh house shot and I'm only pushing med revs with med speed.  On a drier shot I was playing 5th arrow.  The backend on this ball is wicked.  Good for opening up the lane on a lighter shot, but you better be able to fire rockets on anything resembling dry.

if you have decent speed tray a 135 deg layout. pin up 5" from pap and vg swung to 135 deg.

I had this layout on a Pearl Blade and it was awesome for swinging on a dry lanes.
I used for a  summer league and never went brooklyn. I had area that I don't normally see. The reason for the speed comment is becuse if I did slow down the ball would roll out and laeve a week pin. the 2 pin many times.
