Brunsick Fortera Intrigue Review
« on: December 25, 2014, 09:26:57 PM »
Ball Specs: pin 3.5 inches
                 starting top weight 3 ounces

bowler specs: High ball speed, high rev rate
PAP 4 inches out 1 inch up

layout: 55x4.25x35 box finish

Review: This ball for me was a lot less sensitive to the elements then the Fortera Exile. I used a very similar layout on the two balls and it was pretty easy for me with my ball speed to get some over/under with the Exile. It took quite a few trips to the ball spinner to get the surface just right for me. With the Intrigue, I did not have any issues as far as needing to tweak it to my game. The Intrigue was not as long down the lane, (but still plenty of easy length) and was very strong and continuous at the back part of the lane. I hesitate to call the Intrigue flippy for me, but it's pretty strong at the back. The other thing with this ball, is I can use it on a lot of different lane conditions. Just an all around great ball in my opinion. If anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to drop me an email, and I would be more then glad to answer any questions.
