Title: BrunsNick Ball Vid! Brunswick Fortera Exile, Melee Cross and the Reax Gusto!
Post by: BrunsNick on May 28, 2014, 01:56:08 AM

I don't do videos very often anymore... The Fortera Exile inspired me to break out the camera and do it all over again! I've never seen a Brunswick ball go dead left and keep going left through the pins. It's unreal.

The Melee Cross is absolutely gorgeous, total Rhino Pro Teal look-a-like. Rolls smooth and predictable, very easy to read and still continues through the pins.

Radical Reax Gusto, skid/arc at it's finest! Loving the Mo cores, and now with a hybrid coverstock, the Reax Lineup is complete!

Is there any word that the Fortera series is taking over the Meanstreak series?

Here's the official Brunswick video: http://youtu.be/jrNSsIt_pDE

Fortera series has to be high performance.  With a new core and new coverstock, I'd be REALLY surprised if this was a middle of the road release . .

Is there any word that the Fortera series is taking over the Meanstreak series?

Melee looks like a solid solid, lol, and the Gusto almost looks like a stronger Grease Monkey, good roll, but the Exile is extra impressive. That's definitely not a traditional Brunswick reaction.  Matter of fact I'm having a hard time comparing it to anything.  Almost Marvel pearl, but that one is smoother.  Not quite IQ Tour Pearl, that ball isn't as stable or rolly in the midlane.  Primal Rage-ish, but the Exile is cleaner.  I've got a few staffers in the area, I'll have to see theirs roll too . . but it's a unique reaction.  I expect to see those be popular.

The videos from Brunsnick's original site are the ones that got me in to combing the web for reaction videos!

Exile looks pretty interesting.

Thanks!

That Exile looks special, reminds me of a modern day Vapor Zone.

Fortera Exile will be a high performance ball in a new "FLIP" category.

MrNickRo, that's pretty cool to say, thanks!

Nice to see another BrunsNick production!  Nothing beats your Holy Grail video though.  That's what inspired me to get a Gold Rhino Pro and made me the Brunswick man I am today.

But why do you keep making balls I want?  I love the old school look of the Melee and the Exile looks to be something really special.  Damn you, Brunswick!

Haha, I pulled out every cheesy effect I could find in the editing program for that video... Good find. :)

Take care Dougie!
