BrunsRicH, Nick, Ball drillers
« on: May 26, 2005, 05:08:51 AM »
Im looking to redrill a ball that has seen limited use, and experiment with a new lay out.

Stats are in profile, ball to be redrilled is a ZC.

I want this ball to be like my use on anything ball, or to try it out at this old wood house that is plauging me in my other thread. I realize that activator pearl isnt the best choice for heavier oil but im looking to try something new.  I currently have a 2 balls drilled pin above ring with 45 degree layout (OI,IZ) and another Storm recharge, pin above bridge CG within 1" of grip center.

What would say drilling the CZ pin below bridge ( to increase pin to pap distance and lower the flare) at say a 75 degree layout do?

Eh, rico smico... i rico'd that SLayR, still havnet been able to get a good impression of it though.

I would like to try a pin below low rg position... how would a 45 or 75 degree layout pin under bridge react for someone with my stats.

Even with pin under say bridge, would a 45 degree layout still be flippy? The CZ is flippy to begin with but would the move on the back end be flippy and continous.  Or would it just have a heavy midlane and then flip and roll?

I tried the RICO.

It gave me a black eye.  Definitely not a drilling for a tween-stroker like me.

Yea i havent got a chance to really try the rico'd slayR out yet.  I threw it durning practice last monday it didnt really move.

SlayR+RICO+Stroker/tweener+med/heavy oil= not enough for this ball. I want to try it out again this up comming week before i make a deff judgement on it though, maybe make a few videos.

I rolled about 5 games with the Original Inferno drilled RICO and I may be wrong but it seemed as if it was flaring over the thumb hole all the way down the lane.  LOL

I def. would need more revs or a different axis rotation.  I'm gonna have it plugged and re-drilled with the G-ROD drilling.
