IMPULSE ZONE vs BIG BULLY
« on: February 03, 2005, 12:26:47 AM »
i am a brunswick fan,but my brother has a columbia big bully and every time i cant use my classic zone because i want to play a wet side of the lane i throw his big bully and it works like a charm for me.
the layout of the big bully is this

...0.0
.......pin

........cg

.....0

if i drill one impulse zone would i get the same reaction?

I've got one drilled with the pin just to the right of the ring finger and the PSA about 1.5" right of the thumbhole.  It rolls very similar to a Bully that I punched out earlier this year only with a little better backend reaction.

bob so wich do u think it could be the difference?
because the reaction that i want is something that clears the heads (beacuse of my revs) and then make a comeback to the pocket but deep in my break point...thats something that mi classic doesnt make but my brothers bully does...i love to play small angles with my classic but sometimes when the track area its burn i need to move inside (i have 498 rpm)and use some part of the lane thats really wet (something like 25 in the arrows to 10 in my breakpoint on 42 feets)thats why i need recovery but a smooth one
i am thinking in an absolute also..but i dont know how to put it on my set.
right now i just have my classic, and my hot rod stock pearl(wich i dont like a lot)and maybe a slasher to put down

the classic when i go really deep sometimes does not recover and lives the 2 or the 2-10...that makes me go less deeper and then when it hits the track area soon my classic rolls out.
did i explain it well?
sory for my english
iam from argentina

My idea is to have in my arsenal 5 balls and my spare balls
i can make something like this

ultimate inferno
impulse inferno
absolute inferno
zone classic
hot rod pro stock pearl

or maybe i could sell my hot rod stock pearl and get a slasher
would this be a good one?
