Warp Zone vs. Strike Zone????

How are these two balls comparable? If drilled similar, but one or the other shined up?

Second place is first loser.

Both asymmetrical heavy oil balls OOB, IMHO equally strong, but different philosophies and technlogical generations. WZ is med RG, med load solid particle ball with a coarse 400 grit finish. Coverstock based on PK18. It will hook VERY early, arcing, even when polished. True oil ball.

The SZ has IMHO a better, lower RG core (rolls earlier/better) and has solid Activator coverstock, 800 grit sanded OOB. More up-to-date in any way. This ball creates more roll through the core, but less early grip. Probably easier to shine up and influence ball reaction, and better suited when you want to tweak the ball for less oily conditions. Brunswick claims more hook and length for the SZ, and that might be true. Probably the more versatile ball of both.

dizzy kinda hit the nose.  i own(ed) both balls at some point---warp zone is very even no matter how you drill it.  and the strike zone can be shined or sanded to do almost anything u want, but is very very strong.  hopefully u pick the one that matches ur game.  :-D

Something I can also add is that the WZ is soppused to be a very good oil ball choice for low track players who have problems to make the ball move on oil at all, due to the particle coverstock and higher RG (saving energy better) - heard it through the grape vine from local semi pros.
