Brunswick Ball for drier/short conditions
« on: February 15, 2005, 03:16:02 PM »
I have a Track Rule and a Hammer Sharp Blade which both grab to quickly when the heads are dry.  I was looking for a ball that would get through the heads cleaner and still hit the pocket hard.  I was considering a Blazing Inferno but dont know how comparable that is to what I already have.  Is this a good choice or are there better brunswicks available for the conditions?

true, bowlers do the scoring but think of the ball as a tool. the right tool makes a job a little easier. for drier conditions the monster slayr is ideal.

Punisher and Intense will/can FLIP; Slay/R is for one complete step down in oil handling and hook potential from the Punisher and the Intense. I think the Intense is a slightly stronger overall, in that it handles more oil, than the Punisher.  All hit BRUNSWICK hard. Intense and Punisher have the potential to cover a lot of boards. Intense can handle carrydown, more than the Punisher, depending, of course on drilling and hand.

FYI I have an Intense and a Slay/R; teammate has Punisher as do several league members.
