New Ball
« on: June 26, 2005, 01:55:51 PM »
I got money for my birthday and i was looking for a new ball but i don't know what to get.

I am looking for a high performance ball but i don't know what would suit me best.
I can throw a hook with medium revs. I am kind of looking at an inferno.
I throw it about 14-15 mph and it should be medium to heavy because i have a ball for light and for medium. And another thing is that i am looking for a good backend ball that hits hard and has a high breakpoint angle.

TORNADO WARNING PEARL(Ebonite)-sweet small hooking light oil ball

SCOUT/R PARTICLE- a lot bigger hook than my tornado and hits harder and carries more

Until you learn a little more about adjusting and changing lines and whatnot, your not gonna see any difference in performance between a midprice and performance. I suggest, mondays practice changing hand positions and lines, and hopefully I can be there to help you out.

I go with kingpin about ball choice. But if you need a recommendation for medium to heavy oil and your skill, try the Nemesis in box condition. Should be playable an a wide range of medioum to heavy oil. Check high-perfomrance stuff out, when you exactly know what you can and want to make the ball do.

With the money saved from a high performance ball, if you do not have it yet, think about investing in a polyester spare ball. Might be even more important than the next reactive/particle ball.

Try the Big Time Pearl. It's a mid range ball and should give you the reaction you said you wanted......

Sam started out with a hi-performance and look at him now. If you want a performance ball check out the Smokin. Should work well at our lanes.
