Brunswick Booth at Nationals

Great customer service and really worked with me on drilling some of the new stuff.  Both balls that I got drilled from them did exactly as we had discussed.  check them out when you get to Nationals, they had some decent specials also.

I had a Alpha Max drilled up for team event and had a Loaded Revolver drilled up for singles and doubles.  I shot decent, but left some pins out there and also had a hard time kicking out the ten pin.  Ended with 1760 all events, like I said not great.

Came back home though and last night shot 300 with Loaded Revolver, great medium/heavy THS ball for sure.  Everyone should definately try one or one of the newer Brunswick balls as they are making some great stuff again.

Nice comeback on THS. Hope I didnt have you in brackets in Virtual tournaments this week.. lol..

Well 1760 is nothing to sneeze at, but wasn't the AlphaMax and LR to strong coverwise?  Last year is when I figured out the shot for me, it was the extreme outside with weaker ball in the Big B line. I used a Focus Zone which uses the same core as the Ultra Zone but with an Activator Hybrid cover ( pin over bridge, mb 2" from thumb). I watched a few good bowlers scoring well last year and tried it. I had the best read of all my friends playing 2-3 board. Finished with 1824 all-events with a 540 in singles (ran out of gas). I will be bowling on the 23rd and 24th this month and plan on bringing a Prime Zone (Intl' Absolute Inferno) with my Danger Zone. I had zero success the year prior with a Maxx Zone same drill @4000 highly polished.

I will post my scores when I return.

The Alpha Max was a little too much after the first game.  I mostly used the LR as it matched up pretty good for me playing 15 to 10.  I actually think that the Karma's would have also worked well, but they were not out yet.  I would defiantely check on those for sure.
