Gotta love those monsters
« on: February 25, 2005, 08:58:59 AM »
Well i picked up all my stuff today from the shop.  Ultimate, speed zone, and bruiser.  I had already picked up my screamr and pimp zone.  But MAN, i really love those monsters more than the others.  I match up REAL well with 'em.  Too bad that line is getting the axe.  Can't really comment about the UI, since Ludacris was singin ROLL OUT.

Who else here likes the monsters as their favorite line?

i love the core from the monster smashr, it is the same core as in my favorite ball of all time, my commmand zone arcs. Great line of balls there, underrated as most mid-priced lines are (i don't even buy high end stuff anymore). If you like the screamr, you would definately like the punisher. Same great roll and just a few boards stronger in the backend, and hits great!

I had a smashr when i first started out, when i knew nothing.  I didn't know anything then, but i can tell that was a really nice ball, now.  Actually, the smashr is what got me into Brunswick.  SO i guess we can owe the creation of the Nation to the monster Smashr.

I think i might just be buying the mid line stuff, assuming the BVP will roll the monsters did.

I have a Bruiser, absolutely love it and it's first outta the bag.  Was considering a Goliath, got the Impulse Zone instead.  Was considering a Slay/R, but I still have great luck using an old Norm Duke Hammer on dry lanes.

Had a green pearl reactive and a Frenzy, but I sold them when I had to go down to 14.  Loved them both, but never could find replacements.

I think I might get another Bruiser and rathole it for later. . . . .

The monster line was great. since i started bowling i never was bowling when some of the older stuff was out. but i kept 2 monsters the frenzy and bruiser which i have 2 off. IMO the best Monster made. had a few others but these two are the keepers since i have a lot of stuff.

I put about 700 games on my Smash/R. Now I have another one - it only has about 10 games on it - just drilled it up a couple of weeks ago...

Lovely ball.

i owned and used every ball in the monster series except the bruiser and was extremely satisfied with the roll i saw and the low cost---what else could you ask for.
