Brunswick Defender Hybrid WWRD 10/21/2022

Brunswick Defender Hybrid     @15 lbs  2.473  .054  .015  DynamiCore/D.O.T.
WWRD 10/21/2022   12-16 lbs.
The Defender continues to be a med-heavy volume choice for league and tournament bowlers. The PortalX core provides a nice, readable motion for an asym. You will be seeing some new coverstock formulas and the first is the HyperKinetic22 (HK22) found on the Brunswick Defender Hybrid. While we won’t be going into the tech, more information can be found on the Brunswick website. HK22 will handle more volume and create a stronger, more responsive breakpoint. Using HK22, the colors seem to pop giving the Defender Hybrid a great look. The colors are Pink/Purple/Violet. This combo will turn heads and so will all the strikes. Built with DynamiCore and D.O.T., you get versatility in drilling and durability.

Drilled 4 1/2 x 4 x 2 1/2

This ball looks FANTASTIC.  The color scheme and brightness of the colors is superb

Big B has been known for early chuggy balls for quite a while.. But let me tell you this ball is anything but.  Easy length on House with this layout and no matter how far left i got, the ball turned the corner and got through the pins with no issues.

Guy on the pair next to me was throwing a One remix,  Defender was slightly longer and a good bit sharper at the break point.

RIP Visionary Bowling Products...

Drilled mine up 55x5.25x50
Love the colors , but love the reaction even more. with the new cover stock
HK22 features enhanced color and clarity by engineered nano micellular phase separation technology, dramatically improving the cover’s translucency, I didn't see over/under like I do with most Hybrids. this was really clean and smooth motion down lane, Threw this on Del Ballard Pattern, this ball Struck alot.. if you looking for a Hybrid this your baby

After one shot I knew I was going to love this ball. It does exactly what a hybrid should: good combo of length and backend motion, but not crazy skid/flip. That means no oscillation between 4-9’s and blower 7-10’s. I am loving the new HK22 shell. Still get hook in the oil without burning up in the dry.
