Quantum Evo Solid + Pearl Video Ball Review
« on: October 28, 2021, 12:58:11 PM »
Drilled up the new Quantum Evo Solid (45x4.75x45) + Pearl (50x5x30) and immediately took them out to the lanes to shoot some video on a 40' 6/1 medium volume pattern.

My look to the pocket was great with both balls although I would encourage most people to not be shy about taking the surface up on the Solid as it comes very dull out of the box while the Pearl will really cover some territory down the lane.

How would you rate the evo pearl as an all around ball on medium to longer oil and volume?
Coming back after a 8 yr lay-off.

Oh and I had the original One and it died a premature death but was great while it lasted. No amount of resurface or oil rendering could bring it back..

My game changer ball was the ebonite turbo X

That is a tough question to answer as I have not seen you bowl, but as somebody with above average speed/revs and a bit of a spinny release, the Evo Pearl is in the bag when I see medium-heavy oil and medium-longer patterns.
It will give you average length and corner really well.  Don't be afraid to add a little bit of surface if you are considering it for the fresh.
