Anybody using this thing? I get a callus on the tip of my index finger. I've used a variety of things in the past, like superglue, finger tips, turbo rev, etc...
The finger tips work okay but tend to fly off every now and again. I was looking at the finger saver b/c it is longer down the finger.

I have a couple in the shop. Its like using a glove without the glove. You won't know if you like it until you try it. I pesonnaly wrap some vise tape , the tacky one, halfway around my nail for a better feel of the ball. Give it a try .

Tried that too, but the Vise tape doesn't stick to me...lol

I have the same problem...I have started to use the Turbo Skin Tape and it works great...it stays on really well for about 10-12 games...then I either have to reapply it or just press on it between shots...

Index finger MORE hook, baby finger less hook. (http://"http://www.buddiesproshop.com/product/2330/Turbo_2-N-1_Turbo_Rev.htm")
Personnally I like to use finger inserts because they do fly off....bounce down the lane....and I find that ....hysterical!

The Turbo rev works the best for me. Just take it off every frame so it doesn't get sweaty and it'll never fly off.

I didn't realize that people push their index finger hard enough against the ball to get a callus or such. Does it help that much?.... Maybe this is something I need to be doing if it is benefical?

I don't try to lift hard with my index finger, but I wear a golf glove (thumb and bowling fingers cut out) to protect my index finger. No matter how short I cut it, I tend to crack the nail about 1/3 the down if I don't protect it. Another cheap solution it to use a "money counter" available at most office supply chains.

They're cheap, stay on, and don't change your release because they're not super thick.

Hey agroves, (How ya doing bud?)
I've tried this and also sold it at the shop. It works well but I had a couple of issues with it. 1) It didn't last very long, I used it maybe a couple of months and it wore out, flipped it around and that wore out as well 2) The size was a little big for my finger so I had to tape it on the end of the finger near my palm. The product worked while it lasted.
I used to use a grip on my index as well until it flew off multiple times (once at Nats...embarrassing). Hope this helps some...

I picked up some smaller finger tips at staples. Hopefully, they will stay on. If not, I guess I'll look for something else.
