 I like the ball motion of the Jab more so than the Intrigue. Along those lines, I saw a Melee Jab clip posted by Jason Sterner. My comment to him was devastating. Simply devastating. Would like to see how it handles a sport compliant/flat shot.

Rev rate avg. (400-428 rpm)

What would be a better step down from the jab, a platinium ringer or the lt-48? They seem pretty close in overall strength.

I agree...I think the Platinum Ringer would be the better step down overall.  The LT 48 has a little less hook but the Platinum would give you a more significant difference.
