Just curious if anyone uses their Hero in a high friction environment?  Bowl in a dry house league where see balls like Strike Kings and Slingshots.  Curious if might be able to polish crap out of it and use it as there as I hear the ball is amazing.  Maybe at least as a game 1 first out of bag ball. Thanks.

If there's really a bunch of Strike Kings and Slingshots, the Rhinos, Twists, and Counter Attacks would be the better options in the current lineup.

If you wanted something with a little higher diff, you could probably find a Cutting Edge Solid or Pearl for cheap. I think both are a little weaker than the Hero

Thanks kind of what I was afraid of.  Oh well luckily plenty of other houses in area I can use it.  Must have ball for under $120.

As previously mentioned,  the Hero is quite early to be used in those types of situations.  Rhinos or Counter Attacks would be much better I think.

Personally I'm getting a Hydra or hustle ink as a ball down from my Hero
If Brunswick puts dynamicore in a light oil ball with a dialed back core... I'm in immediately

Even Hustle Ink is probably pushing it as dry as this place gets.  Don't really care about dynamicore but DOT in a very mild ball I could go for.

RG Hustle Ink is a lot stronger than most would think for a light oil ball.

What year is this? “Polish the crap out of it”? Why? That’ll make it either not do anything or go sideways.

More thinking polish and then put on slip agent but yeah one way ticket to over under.   Back to putting a little bit of surface on my Slingshot.  Hero square peg at this house.

I have a REALLY dry house & on that one my top ball is the Brunswick Twist & I ball DOWN to a Motiv Rebel tank Pearl\Urethane or BTU Pearl. SOMETIMES theres enough oil that a Hustle Ink OOB can roll there but in no way can the Hero.

The Ink with a 2000/4000 is close to my Hero, they are both stronger. I've been polishing the crap out of the Ink to try to differentiate them again but honestly like you... I think we need a different ball to ball down. I feel like the 73 that they put on the website for its hook number is a bit off. It hooks more than the Melee Jab SE they put at 80 & as much as the Uppercut from the videos I was watching last night.

Again. I think I need a ball down from the Hero & have to accept it is what it is, a fairly strong benchmark, not a late in the block low oil skid flip piece

Motiv covers this better with the Hydra or supra

Yeah since switched to a four man league from triples at this house for the 2nd half of season (and my team only had 2 of us before) probably going to end up using my Blue Hammer remake for game 3 especially if come across any fools throwing a SPEC ball or something.
