Title: Brunswick High Gloss vs Brunswick Royal Shine

Is there any difference between Brunswick High Gloss polish and Brunswick Royal Shine polish? The Royal Shine is a few dollars more maybe because it's newer. Royal Shine list 5000 grit and High Gloss doesn't state the grit. Alright you Brunswick gurus fess up.  :)

The Royal Shine is different. It has an additive to make the surface "tackier".

Same with the Royal Compound versus Rough Buff, and the Royal Compound has also been tweaked so as to not leave the "powder-like" residue that would sometimes happen with Rough Buff.  For best results I like to finish the "buffing" stage with a damp cloth.

Thanks Lane. 

With that being said I've been killing it with my NEXXXUS at 1500 Siaair with Brunswick High Gloss. Would switching the Royal Shine make a difference? Yes I always finish any polish job by spinning the ball and using a wet/damp microfiber cloth to remove any residue.

Whether or not you see a difference (to the naked eye) depends on a lot of factors; however, in my mind a tackier surface should be a plus since we rely on friction to allow the ball to change direction and drive through the pins properly.

Glad you're doing well with the Nexxxus.  Keep throwing strikes!
