I'd like to know does it really increase carry by 12-13% like company says. Please don't reply unless u have thrown something with the Dynamicore in it. Because I was going to pick up a Katana this week, but if the Dynamicore is that great might get the Tenacity instead, thanks

If going Brunswick anyway might look at the Quantum balls.  Being 2 piece guarantee they carry just as well as Dynamicore (which still compresses more than pure coverstock, have to really earn a split with a Quantum).  My Green Quantum is my first out of bag league ball (first shift fresh oil) and have an arsenal of 25+ balls (including several Radical pieces).  The fire pearl is not as angular as the Katana but it hits a ton and best of all they are on clearance right now.  They are butter smooth as well.  My skid flip 2 piece is actually my Honey Badger which is also a fine piece.

I think you can guarantee that any difference in possible carry between two piece, dynamocore or any other filler is negligent and marketing only.

Here is a link to two industry people talking about the difference http://forum.bowlingchat.net/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=61

Carry is not relative to an additive to the core or filler material. Of the 2 choices you noted I’d go with the Katana because it looks a lot better downlane than the Tenacity. Especially if you’re bowing on primarily House patterns. Not saying you are I’m just throwing that out. Columbia 300 did the same foolishness with the “Hypershock” filler material with the Swerve, yet we didn’t see a huge gravitation to that or those series of balls. How fast the ball slows down and how well it rolls forward on the pattern you’re using it on.
