Question about my brunswick Rampage
« on: June 09, 2009, 06:36:18 AM »
This question is for the ball drillers out there. This ball just doesn't move for me. The house where I bowl is more medium to dry. The ball is going too long. I am rev dominant- medium speed. My question is should I make an ajustment to the surface? 2000 abralon? This is a good ball but I only had 1 good game out of this ball.Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I'd try 2000. If you've got more than 60-80 games on it it's probably time to find a Revivor and have the oil extracted, too.

Is it a Mexico-poured Rampage, or a Muskegon pour?

IME the Rampages made in Mexico are a *lot* pushier than the ones from Michigan.  If you have one of these, I'd recommend taking the surface down to 320 or 400 first to strip off all of the polish, and then bring it back up to 2000 in steps.
