Title: Brunswick Melee and Ringer Platinum video

Drilled up the new Brunswick Melee and Ringer Platinum. This video is shot in order of using the Ringer Platinum then switching to the Melee.

Was excited to try the Platinum since I did not drill the first Ringer. Went with a 4.5" pin to pap, a 30 degree VAL angle, and a small deep p3 x-hole. I wanted the ball to have some length with a good finish down lane. I have not been disappointed using this ball to start on the fresh the first few nights. As the night goes on it allows me to only make small moves inside and keep playing the same shot.

The Melee I was a little unsure of after watching a few videos because of how clean the ball was with not a lot of bite down lane. I decided to drill it with a 2.5" pin to pap with a 40 degree VAL angle and a flare increasing x-hole to get the ball to hook a little sooner and be able to finish down lane. I was very very happy with the end results. The ball is extremely clean through the front of the lanes. Think Slingshot with a little more bite to finish.

I started off playing the same line in the video as the Ringer with a little less ball speed. I then  slowly started moving further right and picking my speed back up a little bit. The ball is fantastic. For many it may be a little too long and require some surface tweaking to get the desired reaction need for your style and condition.

Hope to add later a video of my Melee compared to a Slingshot drilled similar to give an idea on the length the ball has.

Nice video thanks. I'm looking forward to your comparison of the slingshot to the Melee.

Thank you.

I would have had it with this video but I left my much needed thumb tape at home and could not hold on to the Slingshot worth a damn to do it justice. The Slingshot is drilled with a 2" pin to pap and 40 VAL angle with a flare increasing x-hole.
