Brunswick Melee Jab review by Andrew Jensen
« on: December 05, 2014, 07:13:53 PM »
Wow! It has been a long time since I have had such a ball in my bag. It reminds me of the Storm Victory Road with a hint of Hy Road in it. This ball is phenomenal!
I drilled mine pin up and kicked the CG out a bit with a weight hole straight across 5" over. Previous to throwing a hole in the JAB I threw it without. What I found is that
it will retain more energy with an enormous back end. I feel if you drill it that way it will be a great ball for those that like to play the lanes straighter or the ones that need a ball to skid down lane and retain that energy needed to still make it back in the later games.
I wanted the Melee to grab just a touch sooner, so I put the weight hole in and then it was exactly what I was shooting for. A ball that would pick up mid lane a little more and still have so much energy that the ten pin won't know what hit it! This one will be in my three ball bag along with the Exile and Intrigue.
