I bought this ball in February to bowl in a tournament. I don't have 40 games on the ball and have spider cracks around the ring finger. I was told by my proshop that his contact said tough luck since it has fingertips.
4 out a my Last 6 balls in the last 2 years have been Brunswick. Theres not alot of oil in 2 of the 3 houses i bowl in around here and I'm really interested in the ringer platinum pearl but may look elsewhere after the way Brunswick handled this.
Has anyone else had and cover stock problems on there btawlers?

fingertips does not void warranty.
the main problem people have with ball warranties, is that if your layout has the pin within an inch of your finger holes without drilling it out completely then they will not honor the warranty.

I can pretty much guarantee you that any "contact" if they work for Brunswick did not say this. The customer service is top notch from this company. Have your pro shop guy contact your regional sales rep. They will send you in the right direction.

The opinions expressed are solely those of the writer and not of Brunswick Corporation.

This should all be sorted out now.
Take care!

Good to see BrunsNick isn't a figment of my imagination lol.
Sounds like you may want to reconsider your proshop options when it comes to your hard earned money.

A big thank you to Nick Smith for taking care of this.
It may of been the distributor and not a Brunswick rep I'm not sure but I was told it wasn't covered. I contacted nick and it's all taken care of now and I will be ordering the platinum pearl ringer tonight.

Can't help but think of this from Family Guy.

BrunsNick to the rescue!! I believe that's a song! I also believe I'd question the proshop and maybe find a new one. It sounds more like the proshop didn't want to deal with this. Just my $.02, Bruce

Ya gotta love that BrunsNick ... He has helped me on ball selections and drillings every time I have asked and he has ALWAYS been 100% correct in his recommendations.
