Brunswick on FIRE!!!!
« on: February 13, 2005, 04:09:51 PM »
Whats the deal with the new absolute inferno?
Any pro that rolls  it is making the show and most of the time wins(except poor
brad yet) I have not cared for brunswick in the past but have drilled up an intense inferno about a month ago and so far so good besides a few carry issues.
But im for sure drilling up an absolute in the near future. After the vertigo.
They sure struck gold with the new ab. inferno

Brad changed to the CZ in the finals match, cuz the absolute wasnt rolling like he wanted it to.  He commented that he was dissapoined cuz he had been using the absolute all week.

I wonder how many he had and with what drillings?
He might have just needed a different drilling. That's a major key these days as cores and their drilling seem to have raised the bar in importance compared to surface and coverstock type.

I'm inclined to change the proportions of importance,
to
45-70% coverstock,
20-40% core AND drilling, (ESPECIALLY with asymmetric cores!!)
0-10% all other variables.

Realize that this is OUTSIDE the realm of oil pattern, lane surface and bowler's release/delivery factors.

For those of you who have seen/read my postings here since around 1999, you will realize that this is a major change in attitude.

Yea i dunno either, that and the fact that everyone that bowled against him put up huge games Brad couldnt win at all.

Im guessing he didnt have ALOT of time between the tv time out and the start of the finals match to make a change.  And he made the change he was most comfortable with and just let it ride.

Imagine if he sticked with the AI in the Final match and moved left ten boards. He could've walked out a winner but who knows? Just my opinion...
