Sidewinder surface?
« on: May 05, 2011, 04:28:17 AM »
I just ordered a NIB Sidewinder and it came with some scratches on it...but they can be fixed on a spinner. So I was wondering what the original surface was under the Rough Buff? (I remember 400 wet sand, but not sure)

Also, I am a high rev, high speed bowler and am going to pin the ball under to smooth out my over/under and still have some pop on the backend. Is there another surface I should give a shot? I was thinking of 500 to get the scratches, 1000, then 2000...then maybe Rough Buff If that's too early...

Any suggestions?

Sidewinder was 220 wet sand and Rough Buff.
