I hate the old rock candy stuff.

But in our local center they have what looks just like the old stuff but it just seems softer.

Almost like wood but very consistent very readable.  Averages are up in one of our harder centers but I just like the consistent friction down the lanes.

Also the approaches which are also synthetic are slightly textured so you don't end up with either super slide or stick.  Seem much more like wood approaches.

Consistent slide every day!

Just think they are great!

PS some of the pro tour events were on this stuff and scoring was good, and shot looked very competitive on the left and the right.  Like our leagues have become at this center!
