Brunswick Stranglehold??????
« on: June 13, 2005, 03:26:51 PM »
For those that don't know, I was on Storm Staff for 4 years until this January.  I didn't resign by my own choice, wanted to try some new stuff.  Robert Lawrence (friend of about 20 years) hooked me up with a few B balls, and now I just can't stop punching them.

I love fricken Ebay!!!  Got me a Monster Bruiser NIB for $60 shipped!  Just won a Slay/R and Red Pin Zone Classic.  It's like drugs.....  Absolute Inferno, Intense, Original Inferno (2), Green Pin Zone Classic, shiny Nemesis, Impulse Zone, love these balls!!!!!!  I gotta have more, want to try a PUnisher and the new one coming!!!!

I think I need Brunswick Balls Anonymous!!!

I see a pattern, I have been in to Storm balls for a while now but lately I have also been wanting some Brunswick balls. Also one of my friends who was a big storm guy just went all Brunswick. Brunswick is taking over!!!!!

I only buy the balls that I can't get through my local distributor, unless something just ridiculous cheap comes up.  I don't think Brunsbob (LOL) cares where I get them, as long as I'm not calling him every day!!!!  LOL!!!!!  Robert has done me right, given me 4 balls, haven't asked for any more than that!

Forgot to list my two Blazing Inferno, Raging Inferno, and two Fuze Eliminators!!!  Bought one of my Eliminators from Mumzie on this site.  Just love that ball!!!!  I used to love the Super Power from Storm, this ball reminds me of that one, and Eraser Pearl Particle.  Eliminator is sooooo smooth!!!!

Haven't had much success with the Ultimate for myself.  Customers crush with 'em, but I have drilled two that were okay at best.  Strike Zone looks interesting!!!  I got a blank Time Zone too, prrrrrrfffffeeectttttt!!!

Have done very well in the shop with the Brunswick stuff too, Absolute is the best Inferno yet, very versatile!!!  Zone Classic, Punisher, need a little more oil for the Impulse Zone, but it rolls good, my wife loves it!!

Getting late, good night Nation!!

I'm not a storm guy all out!  But storm dominates around here.
Columbia/Track second.

Brunswick not even close!

REgards,

Luckylefty
PS too dry!
PPS Brunswick was great on the heavier oil I came from!

I just went up to 15lb and I got 3 Storm balls. I most likely will only get another storm ball if it has very high reviews(Don't Quote me on This, I change my mind often) Since I am throwing 15 and will be for the rest of my life, I will start to pile up the B balls maybe a Storm or Ebonite ball here or there, but Brunswick is leading the pack

Mike - I too had trouble with the Ultimate. I hated it. Now that I'm throwing the ball better, It's growing on me. It gives me a look that NOTHING else in my bag does. It just about takes the pattern out of play. If my Absolute is jumpin' off the dry or touchy, I just tighten up the line and pull out the Ultimate. It is as smooth as my Fuze Eliminator, but more useful on the heavier volumes prevalent today. My everday arsenal at this point is:

Ultimate (pin over bridge) - Heavy oil and weird conditions.

Absolute - First ball out of the bag - I pray I can use this wherever I go.

Danger Zone - For when the pattern is a bit too light for the Inferno's.

Fuze Eliminator - For when the pattern is too light for the Inferno's and the  Danger Zone is too over/under.

Monster Red Black - For when the heads are gone.

These are the everyday balls. I have lots of other stuff that I cycle in and out of the arsenal depending on my mood or where I'm going, but the above 5 cover just about anything I will see. I almost always take a Warp Zone to a tournament as well.
