Pearl or hybrid ball for medium conditions
« on: September 06, 2023, 04:03:25 PM »
Going to a different alley this fall and I think I'm going to need a pearl or maybe a hybrid for medium conditions.  How would the Melee Carbon Jab compare with the Columbia Cuda Pearl or maybe the Ebonite GB-4 Hybrid?  Someone said the Jab is a lot like the original Global Zen.  Any help would be appreciated.

I'm going to recommend either the GB4 hybrid, or the Melee Jab Carbon only because I have seen them with my own eyes.  My friend LOVES the GB4 hybrid and it's probably the first out of the bag for house patterns.

Since surface dictates length, if it's shiny it will react like most pearl covers, and should you decide to add surface it will hook earlier and more smoothly.

Thanks.  I've had good luck with the game breaker surface in the past.
