Brunswick Dry/R great ball...

Dry lanes have always been the ban of my life,and caused me problems as I have difficulty generating ball speed due to some physical limitations.  I compared ball reactions of the Monster Slayer, Burgandy Quantum and the Dry/R.  Too my surprise the Dry/R held pocket better than the other two and hit harder. I find this to be a great ball and a positive addition to my arsenal.  Go Brunswick!!

I was recently able to test the Dry/R as well as a Zone Classic Red Pin. Both are very good balls for dry to medium-dry conditions. The Dry/R is, having a high RG, very tame and smooth (the one I used was pin under ring and MB at 135°). Any movement on a 30' THS with 8 dry outside boards came just in the backend. Very good carry, too.

The ZC was overall stronger due to the real core and the high differential. But it surprised me positively, because it was easy to control.

hey jtl wouldnt just about any ball with all that surface taming be great for dry lanes

I agree the Dry/R is an outstanding ball.  Under the right drier conditions this thing will still get plenty of skid through the head and great hit.  Although, if your talking medium/light in the head with fresh backends, I'm not a fan of this one, as this ball will make a left turn when it hit the dry.
