I couldn't resist....Brunswick
« on: August 10, 2006, 01:39:42 PM »
I went to my local pro shop today to pick up my 15 lbs. Ambush that I had plugged (which by the way wasn't redrilled and is available if anyone wants it.)

I saw this sitting there on the shelf...and it looked so sad, it needed a new home...if I didn't buy it...I heard they were going to put it to sleep....so I HAD TO TAKE IT

I got it without a Thumb Slug..first time since I was 15 I won't have a thumb slug in my ball.  I am thinking I like the feel much better actually.  Last night in league used a ball without a slug..and it felt much better to me.

Anyways I had a chance to throw this for 2 free games tonight.  I had to borrow a pair of shoes, and they just resanded the approaches...so on my first 2 shots I nearly fell on my face.  Like I said I just went to pick up a plugged ball, didn't plan on buying this one

Anyways this ball is NOT AT ALL what I expected it to be. Which for me is a GREAT thing.  Very good looking ball as far as the color scheme goes..looks really nice going down the lane.

My first impression is this ball could be the ball I have been looking for.  I can keep my speed slow, like I like to, and play more direct lines...i'm pretty excited to start my fall leagues now
