Anyone hear anything about what could be next from this line? Or even what you would like to see?

Idk but that phantom reboot sounded pretty sweet. So much for that being state side.

Overseas has had some great choices, phantom reboot, the edge, rhino purple, danger zone and green quantum.
Fire Quantum would be nice but I doubt they do any for the states that doesn't have a Brunswick logo.

One would have thought the LT-48 and the Gold Rhino would be gems but neither ball seemed to really resonate with life-long Brunswick fans, that I have seen. I heard of a few people who liked one or the other, but in the numbers I expected. So, even if they called the new release a Phantom or a Green Quantum or a Fireball, who knows what we would actually get.
I really thought the LT-48 Vintage would be somewhere in the neighborhood of a Danger Zone or a Sapphire Zone. I'm not sure what it was but it seemed like neither for me. I was disappointed. Maybe my expectations were too high or unrealistic. I no longer look forward to what the next Vintage ball will be.

I waited on the lt48 over a year before trying it and absolutely love the ball. Glad I bought two. I think it's an awesome ball very similar to the Columbia orange eruption pro. Very clean and stronger then expected. Knocked box finish off with 2000 grit and made it less condition specific.
I've never cared for any of the gold color balls and the rhino hasn't changed my mind…. The black widow gold how ever is pretty.

yes, I owned the Lt-48. Tried one drilling and various surfaces (4000 grit dull, and a couple levels of polish). Tried it on several oil amounts from light to medium-light to medium oil.

If you follow the previous chronological order the next vintage ball I would guess would be a Phantom. Just a guess, but I cant remember another line after the Rhinos, and before the Zones. I'm actually surprised it hasn't been announced yet. Usually Brunswick has a February release before Nationals starts.
So far the vintage line has had in my opinion been a hit and a miss. The LT 48 in my home house has been very popular. The Gold Rhino not so much. At first I was very excited to get Goldie but i have honestly not touched it much in competition.

Where Brunswick missed with the LT48 was the shell. When they came out with the 1st LT48 it was in an era of hard rubber and plastic balls. At the time the biggest hooking ball was the yellow dot by Columbia and it was plastic. The Lt48 was a soft rubber ball that out hooked everything. They should have made the second LT48 a hooker too and stay tune they might for the 3rd one. Another option will be come back with the Edge, Brunswick"s 1st urathane ball and this one out hooked the LT48.

I feel you man. I figured they would try to make the "vintage" balls fit the same place or reaction as the originals, but no, and I think that was the problem.
The original Gold Rhino Pro was clean, strong, and somewhat "rolly", while the new version was really a skid/flip ball.
The original LT-48 was the first "particle" ball I know of. A heavy condition hook monster that was as mean as anything else on the market back then. The new one was a decent medium condition ball, but mot whar people expected I think.
If they make another one, they should at least try to get it to cover the condition or the reaction as the original did.

If they make them fit what they were at release years ago they would all be high performance bowling balls at $149+ online and most manufacturers aren't trying to do more hp stuff in this market.
Considering the lt48 hasn't been discontinued yet it must be popular enough.

There is a reason why they call them vintage. They were mostly the higher priced balls back then no reason for them not to be now. They were high performance bowling balls that changed the face of the game anything less doesn't do the original justice

The likely reason is too much risk in the high performance market to have something like this and it not be a big sale. Especially if you are only releasing one a year.
The Heat was the big hooking ball for Track at release but they would be dumb to release the Paradox then the Heat and push back the next inline for the Paradox series till later. They made the new Heat something to compliment other releases/lines.
AMF did the same thing with their Bull Whip and Cobra line

If you read my 1st post I said( Where Brunswick Missed with the LT48 ) They should have done it then. I agree it would be dumb now. It should have been brought back what it was, A High Performance ball

I agree. I was on staff at the time and was excited when I heard they were bringing out vintage balls. I too thought Danger, Rhino Pro LE, Vapor, etc. But then was severely disappointed when they were released. They were decent balls but I felt it was just a grab for something in name only.

The Vintage LT 48 is a great ball with a GREAT coverstock. I wish they would put that coverstock on the Ringer core!
I know very little about the Vintage Gold.
As to it's popularity I second everything said by Kidlost, if it wasn't a great ball they would be discounting it! They are not.
