Brunswick Wizard still going strong
« on: January 09, 2017, 09:42:52 PM »
This ball just won't quit. I haven't bowled league in years and my son talked me into joining a doubles league at our local center. After the meeting tonight- I brought out my old Wizard and it still rolls great. Had it plugged and redrilled for a bit more length for a straighter shot. No finger inserts this time as well. I average about 150 at the moment after many years of open bowling when the urge hits. It feels good to be back.

Now just got to get that average up. If not- I'm still having fun.  :)

PK18 is Brunswicks best coverstock and just as usable today as it was when released.

Most will never realize how many balls use this coverstock and its variations.

Agreed. PK18 is the best Brunswick cover I've ever used.

I'll always love that core, one of the best of all-time.

If I could find a NIB 15# Wizard, I'd buy it today.  I had a #16 that I used when the shot was tough and I loved it.
