how strong is the green PBA inferno?
« on: March 02, 2006, 12:54:07 PM »
Any of you pro am bowlers this year get it drilled up yet?

Im curious as to how aggresive this ball is, and what Big B balls i could consider getting to compliment it.

I normally throw Hammer equipment, but I got this one at the
ATL pro-am.  I've used this one a couple times, and it looks
great going down the lane w/ a pretty good backend move.
However, I've never left as many 10 pins w/ any other ball
as I do w/ this one.

nothing against Big B, but i had a lot of trouble with the Inferno line. Nothing about the reactions, they were ok, but I just had a lot of trouble leaving 10-pins. I love the Zone and BVP line, so the Inferno's just didn't fit my game, i guess. It's a shame, everyone else does pretty well with them.

1st brunswick ball thrown in years
got from chicago pro am
2.5 pin and 4 oz top
drill leverage pin next to ring ended 3/4 side 2 1/4 top
must say very nice ball cleared heads with ease and recovered strong
had to move over little during night but ball was consitant in length and backend turn , carried very well. cant complain 718 right outta drill press.
maybe time to change from storm.. dont know yet

A very strong ball. I know a lot of the lower average Pro Am bowlers that got them this year are having trouble controlling them. Of course we are talking about slow ball speeds on lanes with nice dry tails here.

If someone has a 15 pound one for sale let me know.
NIB or single drill preferred...
