Brute Strength Review
« on: September 08, 2015, 02:13:41 PM »
Drilled up the  Brunswick Brute Strength
Layout:::: 50 X 4 X 30
 Box Surface
Rev Rate ::: 325
Ball speed:::: 16 mph
Condition:::::41 ft.  House shot

When I drilled this up I knew it would be stronger than it's little brother The Brute.   I was very suprised on the amount of hook this ball has.  The Brute Strength starts a little earlier on the pattern than the Brute .  It has  more continuation than the Brute also.
It is a  ball that could be your bench markball and if the condition holds up for you , it's a ball that keeps striking. The Brute Strength is 4 and 2 stronger than the Brute for me because of it getting into a roll earlier.  This is a great ball to have in your arsenal and go to it when you need a tad extra over the Brute and Jab.

I LOVE my Brute Strength, but the more I throw it, the more I'm thinking it's actually probably a step above my benchmark ball. You're spot-on with the midlane read, but the ball really turns over and gets going on the back end for me. Actually, it comes off the spot with a more pronounced motion than my Einstein.

How does the Brute Strength compare to higher end Brunswick pearls such as the Mastermind Scholar and Fortera Exile?

The Mastermind Scholar and the Exile are more flippy and longer than the Brute Strength for me.  Although it does get through the front of the lane it read the pattern a lot earlier than the Scholar and Exile
for me.

I have both Fortera's and really like them a lot. The Intrigue, even though it's polished, is earlier for me than the Exile.  Would the Brute Strength be either in between these two?  I'm interested in the Brute Strength but I am concerned of overlapping.
