BTU with low flare layout (heaven sent)
« on: November 13, 2016, 01:50:47 PM »
I have had issues with lighter patterns or when lanes break down for a long time. I've tried different layouts, equipment, surface adjustments, and even tried to work on generating more speed. After the call in session with Brunswick team I knew that this was a ball I had to try. I pulled a layout from Mo Pinel (80 x 2 x 30) and put this baby on the drill press. When I first used the ball I noticed that it was way stronger than I thought it would be. Then I remembered that a few staffers mentioned that the ball took to surface adjustment well. I went with 2k pad and some compound it was a wrap. I can now play the burn without playing extreme angles and really get into the shot. This ball is very smooth, easy to read, and great hit. I see why they say it's better than urenthane quickly. This ball carry very well more so when you use urenthane and you tend to not get the drive you want or when you start making moves the ball don't recover as well. If you need a lighter pattern piece or want a ball with your favorite layout to ball down to this is a must in your bag. Thanks again to the Big B team for giving us what we have asked for and delivered.

I couldn't agree more.

I bowl a second shift league, and this BTU saved me in game three last week, and will be with me every week.  The control of urethane, but better carry than I've ever experienced with traditional urethane balls.

I've tried a few different layouts and they all end up low flaring for me which is perfect!
