Build the Best Brunswick Fam Arsenal
« on: June 14, 2019, 08:15:20 PM »
So have the opportunity to purchase some Brunswick family stuff very affordably and had the need to redo my bag of equipment anyway. So looking for help to drill the right pieces that were hits for their brands.

Looking for:
1. Heavy Oil - Solid Asym
2. Heavy Transition - Hybrid Asym or Solid Sym
3. Skid/Flip - Pearl Asym
4. Benchmark - Medium
5. Light Oil
6. Dry

I am a high rev/medium speed player. So on the low end I probably need to drill a Twist but looking for help on the rest as I haven't drilled anything Brunswick in awhile

I'm rev dominant but my speed is only in the 15 mph range. My house is a little drier too than most probably so I stick to symmetric stuff for the most part. The Cutting Edge line works well for me, and the Quantum Bias/pearl and Kingpin SE work well when there is a little more oil out there. I did just buy the two Magnitude 35's and a Rhino to try out sunday and see how they will line up with what I need.

Thanks for the quick responses guys! I was leaning Kingpin Rule or Pitbull Bark so I guess the Rule it is. So now my question would be, is there enough difference between the Vapor Zone and the Prowler to get them both? I've seen great things out of both of them. Also feelings on the Katana Slash for the 2?

3. Vapor Zone, Prowler
4/5. Turmoil hybrid, Squatch, Cutting Edge Solid, Cutting Edge Pearl, Counter Attacks
6. Twist

I also need a new arsenal... Was there a reason you didn't include the conspiracy pearl?
Does anyone have any knowledge of the new Hero? It seems kinda close to the prowler. I'm wondering if these are closer to the turmoil pearl or the conspiracy pearl

Conspiracy Pearl is a good ball. I like a little smoother in the #2 spot they listed and a little lower intermediate diff for the #3 skid/flip.

The Hero should be a small step down from the Prowler. Fearless core with Vapor Zone cover

My bag looks something like this:
Conspiracy Solid
Tenacity Grit (smoother off the spot)
Vapor Zone
Method (original)
Cutting Edge Pearl
Alley Cat (a little more core than the Twist)
Brandon Riley
Brunswick Regional Staff

Going to throw the vapor zone for the first time tomorrow, but I have the prowler. The prowler is probably considerably weaker than the VZ. Love the Slash, it's a more round shape for me.

Fearless?

Great stuff guys!
I may start with the prowler and see how it shapes up for me. Being a 2 hander and drilling no thumb Im not sure what to expect. I gotta wait for discounts from buddies until I buy and the rules don't change until Aug 2020 anyways. For now my ridiculous pearl is perfect.
I may slow roll my arsenal build... But the prowler and a conspiracy seems like the place to start for me. The fearless seems like a perfect benchmark ball but I'm not sure when id throw that over the prowler.
The OP has a lot of choices, Brunswick is bringing the goods.

I haven't had much luck with the fearless OOB. I had to put more surface on it. watch Striking dynamicx page on fb, they do raffles and you could win some big b stuff for cheap. I love the prowler even though I need the lanes to break down a little to throw it.
