I'm looking for something for something to tame very light to dry conditions including broken down heads and crisp back ends.  The outsides are dry to the point that if you miss outside, it will come through the nose or brooklyn unless you miss far enough outside that it burns up and rolls out.  Carry down is not a factor.  I'm inclined to get a Power Groove Dry/R, but am a little concerned about carry due to the lack of a real core.  Would also consider trying to find a Slay/R, but I wonder if that would still be too much ball as it has a slightly higher hook rating than the PG.  I prefer Brunswick, but would consider other options.  Any thoughts?
