This ball hits pretty hard!
Halfway through the video, I drilled a Flare-Increasing xhole. Go see the results!

From my experience, a particle ball is great for fresher lane conditions, playing more so up the boards.
A resin ball of any kind would be better suited once the lanes burn up a bit.

Woo Hoo!! Hot Dang Nick! I gotta have one of those.

I throw Brunswick. What is your excuse?
-
Nick, the ball looks good, but I noticed another thing in that vid. It looks like you switched over to some shiny new Brunswick shoes. How do you like those? They looked like a variation of the SST5 to me.

I was noticing the pimped out shoes too, they only blinded me after every ball when you turned your foot. . .

Its hard to play with an inferno and not get burned. Last time I threw my inferno, the opposing bowler definitely got burned.
Since I only throw Infernos, just call me the Flamethrower.
Pimpin ain't easy-it's mandatory.

are you implying that the sst5lx's arent comfy!?!?! mannn i just bought a pair of them lol.. dont tell me that now hahah

I think you made a good choice in adding the flare increasing hole. Even when you get on a flatter pattern, not a THS, it should roll really nice.
Is the OOB 500 Abralon? You didn't polish did you?
I haven't got mine yet, were usually the last ones to get the balls.

Nick, you have like a million revs, do you really need a high load particle ball?
And what song is it in the vid?
--------------------
I like my coffee black, just like my metal.
What would Chuck Norris do?
-
Of course he does, it blends the fresh better than reactive balls. The hook phase of the Mammoth is slower thus allowing more control, or something like that.....

The SST5LX's were great, but they stretched a little much and felt loose after 2 years.
Out of box is like 400 Grit sand, at first I brought it to shine, but dulled it to 500 Abralon for the video.
Heck yes I need a particle ball! Nothing is better on fresh, shorter patterns where I'm playing out by the gutter. (btw the song was Yellowcard - "Rock Star Land")

I have to agree with nick on this one...From my experiences high load particles were always a great option of playing up the boards with eariler smoother roll and eliminating over under that most would see with a flippier reactives. As the particles starting hooking earlier if you moved in with them they lack the backend to carry the corners. As the lanes burn up switching to a flippier reactive moving in allows for a larger margin for error and increasing backend for better carry and hitting power...well done nick....

Move left, hook it more.....

Personally I think the shoes are ugly, I prefer my SST6's because I can wear them on halloween with my Frankenstien constume.
However I am excited about the ball. I only see heavy oil on my sports shot league and as I didnt match up well with the Scorchin this will fill that void nicely!
