Is just recently picked up a Punisher on a trade. I need some input on how this ball reacts, it's strengths/weakness', etc. I have a Blazing Inferno I use for dry shots. Does this ball work well there too? I'll probably plug the Punisher and redrill it, and just want some help on it.
My stats are in my profile also. Thanks!

The Punisher is good for medium-dry shots. Not a true dry lane ball, and definitively weaker than a Blazing Inferno (coverstock, core). When you can play the BI successfully, a Punisher with the same or a tad stronger drilling should work fine, too (pin above ring, CG stacked). The Punisher has a snappy coverstock that reacts well with dry boards. OOB, it does not like too much or long oil at all and can be erratic. Good ball when the lanes dries up, and I'd recommend a length drilling for it (pin above fingers, pin to PAP 4 1/2" or even more) to make it recat late. The core has not very much punch IMHO, so delaying reaction is a good setup for it. Also matches the coverstock characteristics well.
