Fagan
« on: April 29, 2006, 01:02:34 PM »
I bowled a PBA regional this weekend and noticed that Mike Fagan was not using Brunswick.  I then overheard a conversation that his contract was up and not renewed.  He was using a fair amount of Track stuff this weekend.  Rather interesting.

They usually do that at the end of the season.  Most contracts are only one-year at a time, except, I guess, for Parker Bohn's, who's probably on staff for life.

I heard a couple of companies have approached him already. One of them being Track.

At least say the no no's you don't have to say who told you, but considering the owner of your pro shop came up with the idea for a brunswick pro shop at nationals and most of you guys have worked it ever since you would be one of the people who know.

Really.  It isn't fair to leave us hanging or we might start making stuff up.  A hotel maid caught him in a, err, compromising position with the boss's daughter.  Or son.  That'd be exciting too.  Or both, even better.

It'd be boring to hear "Oh, he threw Ebonite while subbing in league one night".  We can get that kind of crap from Devaney.

Just to set the record straight, there were no No-No's by Michael. No need to start guessing or making stuff up about a good young man.

The hair is his best feature (apart from having a great game, that is).

I like Fagan.  Seems like a nice guy who will be a threat once he figures out he can win.  I was just looking for some excitement.

I heard that they didnt renew his contract because of the checkered pants he wore on tv. I guess big b doesnt endorse the ed grimley look.

I thought they were cool.  Was Guppy Troup on staff with anyone?

Fagan gets his equipment drilled by the same pro shop as me and when I was in there about a month ago, I noticed 2 or 3 Track boxes with his name on it.  Looks like he's been set on Track for at least a month or so.
