Here is the video...
what a battle it has been with adobe premiere, the video quality is sub par but I managed to iron out as much as possible.
Enjoy!
OI Video (http://"http://www.fiyawerx.net/media/OI.html")
If this video goes over well... we may live dangerously next time...
Thanks go out to RJ and the crew at Towne Bowling Academy in Rotterdam, NY, for the great lanes and some buffer from the kids!

lol what was that girl doing on the gutters? Was she a coach?
Anyways some of those shots looked like the ball stabalized before hitting the pins. ive always wanted to try one and see how it rolls for me.

And doing everything in her power to distract me...
Yeah, she was the youth coach.
I joked with her about the kids hitting dollar bills on the lane, how that can take away their eligibility for amateur status.

Nice vid man.. I like the camera angle you used for the video.
You have a solid simple game. And it seems like your super TALL! Lol.
Nice vid and nice game!

Thanks Chris, I work hard at my game to get things right.
Yesterday I did a bowl for kids sake tournament, scored pretty poorly, 204-145.
I was so disappointed that I went to another house to work things out.
230-278.
Yeah I'm tall, 6'2" 182 Lbs.
Much easier to have mechanical mistakes, I need to keep it simple.

Also, 230-278 with the OI? Is that the remake? Did you own the original? If so, how did they compare from what you can remember? LMK.. I'm interested!
Yes I do own an original as well, same layout no x-hole, on my ball rack.
That 278 was bowled with the PBA Red/Black shown in the video, USA Born.
278 was:
X X X X X X X X 9/ XX9
ringing 10 in the 9th and 12th
-
your game reminds me of what I used to do... shame I am all twisted up with rotation right now and can't do a thing.. Keep it simple, cause straiter is greater.

wow, was this filmed in china? I don't mean to be to critical, but after bowling on sport shots 2 times a week, this just seems insane lol.

Tough to take this seriously from a guy without 300 at a house you can't miss at.

I can't understand why this always seems to come up.
Eric doesn't claim to be the second coming.
It appears that he's got a pretty solid, simple approach and delivery.
He's spent a fair amount of time and effort to post something for us to watch.
Does he benefit, financially, in any way from this little experiment? Nope.
Let him bowl on his THS and post as many vids as he wants.
As long as he doesn't act like a jag, leave him be.
BTW, Eric, in the future, edit out the shots you hit 18 and 11 and throw a strike.

Did I say he threw it bad? Did I compare myself to him? Did I say I was more of a bowler than him? Did I say he was less of a bowler for having area? No. I simply stated, The difference I saw from sport shots to this. I didn't say, "D@MN how do you not average 250 on this!" I did not say "Holy crap you should quit!" or anything even close to insulting. I simply stated my observation, Directed at no one. I do not see the reason for you getting defensive over this, since it's not your video. The end.

seems like your the only one laughing. where's your vid?
MegaMav, good job on the vid.

Yeah, taking a mental note right now, make the video as boring as possible by burying the same exact shot every time.
<check>
Also, do not exhibit different breakpoint shapes.
<check>
With all of that aside, who is ready for a Danger Zone Black video?

monstercrank, anybody with a decent memory could notice the various places on the arrows the ball was thrown over. You pointing out the obvious was unecessary.
Eric went through a lot of work to put this up and your first response could have been something different. Instead, you chose to comment on the great wall he bowled on, rather than providing a more compelling nugget of informative commentary. I'll make certain to bisect my mark on at least 15 shots with three different balls on four different types of lane conditions before I post a video. If I don't, I'm liable to expose myself to the immediate condemnation of the professionals on the site who wish critique other bowlers.
For the record, Eric, thank you. Great work. Continued success in the future vids.

I agree, the people here are hilarious. Everyone around here is a pro it seems. Everyone is some perfect, God of bowling. You see this a lot it seems in bowling.
Maybe bowling appeals to a lot of people that are insecure? I'm not sure.
But this video was fine. He's obviously a good bowler with a good stroke. I don't know why so many people have to act like anything less than a 300 game is flawed.

Thanks John, and thanks to all who have commented thus far.
I will fix the video quality issue before the next release.

Nice video Eric. Looking forward to the next one.

I've had my issues with MegaMav (Eric), but that aside, everyone should be appreciative of the video he put together. No question it took a lot of time and effort on Eric's part. The quality is good, and there is always something to be learned by watching.
If folks can get beyond being defensive, there could be some great discussion around Eric's style (the good and the bad) and how it potentially matches up to different conditions.

Great looking style and good ball reaction. Keep the vids coming.
