Cant believe big b is stopping production of infernos and replacing them. I was very surprised to find this out the inferno line is no more.

It's true. I know a guy that is a Brunswick rep. and he said himself that the Total was going to be the last Inferno and that Brunswick is starting a new line. He also said that there was going to be a new release in January sometime

I remember someone saying that the line was over after the Ultimate.

No matter what happens, Big B will come out with a sweet new line, so there's no worries over here.

There was an ad in the lastest BTM from Big B... entire ad was the bottom third of two pages... with a single tag line of "Consider Yourself Warned."  No product pics.... just some dude looking up to the sky. Hmmmmm.....

The Freezing Inferno

His:
Burns My Butthole Inferno
The Last Inferno
The Really Hot Inferno
The Huge Inferno
The Blue Inferno
The Inferno Inferno.......?

There were alot others, I just can't remember them right now. I'll post the others if I remember them.

IMHO, an new high performnace line has been overdue al,ost since the Absolute Inferno, and the release of the Octane stuff would have been the best opportunity to introduce a complete new line with it - unless Brunswick wanted to test it. With the rather negative feedback I heard with the Radical Inferno, this would have been desastrous with a new line.

Now I am anxious to see what's coming up, and with which components (core - asymmetrical?, coverstock, name) the will start out. Another itchy pearl ball?

Brunswick needs to bring back the following:

PowrSurge Coverstock - Pearl & Solid
Mushroom Core - High Performance
Lightbulb Core - High Performance

I need to start kickin rocks around R&D to find out what happened to PowrSurge.
That cover is too good just to disappear like it did.

Things have been awfully quiet around here lately with news leaks.

It wouldnt surprise me if some major surprises are ahead.

If the Inferno line is no more, then I say..... Cool, the Inferno series had a very good successful life span run. Sure there was a few balls some didnt like but there were more balls that everyone liked versus the ones that they didnt like. Thats gonna happen with any brand and/or ball line.

I imagine Big B will come out with something just as good if not better then the inferno series. Who knows, Brunswick High Octane or something like that.......... I can already see a bunch of names with Octane being the play on words.

Looking forward to seeing the next generation of high performance from brunswick.

"Sky" line?

"Octane" line?

All this talk has me thinking about jets, or rockets or something.  Doesn't the Mammoth have a "rocket" core?
