Hello Group
For those that have thrown these two what are the differences? seems to me that the Siege would be a true heavy-oil ball and the C-System 3.5 would be a great oil ball but not a heavy-oil ball but I dont know for sure.

I have the C-System 2.5 and I was thinking about getting the C-System 3.5 since my house has been putting out some real good oil recently, I do have a couple of oil balls but the new C-System 3.5 looks pretty good to me and I think the 2.5 with the 3.5 would be a real nice one, two punch....

I use the Siege on fresher tournament patterns when I need to get the ball into more of a roll, and the 3.5 when there's volume and I need to open up a tight track area.

The Siege will have a slower response time than the 3.5.

Jake,
For me,echoing what Ray said, the Siege is more of a roll ball. I don't think you can beat it for going up the wood on soup (except for maybe a Maxxx Zone). It rolls heavy and is very consistent. The 3.5 creates a stronger move off of the spot due to the factor that JustRico stated. It is great for opening up your angles. The 3.5 also allows me to keep chasing the oil line. Whereas the Siege (with the drilling that I have=Brunswick #2) has more of a limitation. PM me if you have any other questions, or I can help.

For me the Siege handles a heavier volume in the fronts and controls the breakpoing better on fresh. The 3.5 handles the oil, but gets through the front easier and has a better move downlane off friction. But, with that being said, neither handle oil for me as good as my Wild Cards do. Wild Card seems to have the roll of the Siege with the flip of the 3.5.........How can that be a bad deal?

Me happy so far.

My Wild Card seems to allow me more "miss room" on the lane on slicker patterns. It should be a nice addition to the bag at Nationals this year. My 3.5 will also be there, for sure!

Ding Ding. Couldn't have said it better. My Wild Card is smooth, predictable, and finishes well. It's an instant confidence ball for me on tougher patterns.

Thanks again Brunswick peeps, I am really loving these new Brunswick balls that I got this past month (C-system 3.5 and 2.5)

In fact I'm ready to try some other Big B balls. I've kinda got my eye on the Siege's (both

) and the Diamondback. I must admit there are a lot of choices in fact so many it actually makes it hard to choose one

How well does the wild card do in heavy oil?.. will it actually hold line, roll, or hook in oil???

With a surface adjustment mine handled a very slick and flat pattern better than anything in my bag. It read the midlane, and responded as I had hoped with a little more "forgiveness" than my other choices.

That being said, I don't believe there's a ball on the market that actually "hooks in oil". Every ball needs a certain amount of friction in order to change direction.

Thanks.. So how do the wild card and c-system 3.5 compliment eachother? .. what is the c-system good for that the wild card isn't..?

The 3.5 is still a pearl (albeit a very strong one) so it will go longer than the Wild Card and respond even faster to any friction.

In other words, the 3.5 won't handle quite the volume as the Wild Card, but will make a harder turn once it reads the lane, thus allowing greater recovery (assuming adequate friction).

Sounds like a good combo.. and from what I hear the C-system seems to work on a variety of conditions.. not one of those balls that will just die if there isn't enough oil...
The wild card seems like it coulb be versital as well.
