C system 3.5?
« on: March 02, 2010, 11:51:09 PM »
hi guys,
im thinking of buying one of these to handle the heavier oil patterns so ive just got a couple of questions about this piece.

Stats

speed: 15-16mph
Rev Rate: 350-400rpm
PAP: 5 5/8" over 1/2" up
right handed

1) if i was to buy the c system i would most likely get it drilled 50x4"x30 (dual angle layout) do you guys and gals think this drilling would work on heavier oil patterns or would it be too strong/ too early.

2)do u think it would clash with my Hammer Raw Burn which is drilled 60x3"x30 if so could you recomend a drilling for the c system?

3) also how does it compare to some of the other heavy oil balls currently on the market like the Hammer Raw Jacked and Invasion?

cheers
ryan

The C-System 3.5 is great on heavier oil.  I used it at Nationals and it handled the oil easily.  I don't know how it stacks up against the Hammer Raw Burn, but I have tested the Invasion and the C-System 3.5 is not as aggressive.  I'd say the 3.5 is more comparable to the Reign of Fire in its motion downlane and carry.

The C System is great for heavier oil. The layout you are thinking of using is fine, the most important thing about matching up with this ball is surface prep.

I have one drilled 45 x 4.5 x 50 and I had to bring the surface up because it is soooo strong. On long patterns with a lighter volume you need a smooth surface.

The basis of the C Systems is chemical friction, so these balls are easy to adjust the surface without worrying about losing reaction.

The C System 3.5 will handle the heavier patterns with the drill pattern you suggested but will be a little longer and a little flipper than the invasion.  The different motion is a signature feature of the C System technology.  It isn't your typical heavy rolling oil ball but with the right surface prep you can do almost anything with the C System series.  You can't go wrong with these balls.
