So is there something wrong with the C System 4.5? I was thinking about making this my new piece for the season, and they're already discounted to $108 on bowling.com. Just bad sales or what?

Cause the 4.5 is a good piece of equipment...You just have to be EXTREMELY CAREFUL what you pay for it...

I stopped reading this thread, because it got way out of hand, especially for what I was asking originally, but JLS makes a really good point here. It was down to $108 at one point, then a few days later back to $130 or $140, and I thought to myself, weird, must have been a weekend sale or something. Then a day or two later it's down to $102 and then back up, then back down and you get the picture.
I can tell you as a consumer, had I ordered this ball brand new at $142 only for it to come down to $100 a couple months later, when it was still a "new release", I would have been angry.
I'm glad I waited.

sir, I agree
Any smart consumer would also be upset paying $40 more for a new release...Only to see it FOOTBALLED a few days later...
That's a "HUGE CHUCK OF CHANGE"
I would WAIT for the firesale...

My C-System 4.5 is certainly not cheap as dirt........my 4.5 is MONEY !!!
This ball( and the way it's surface was prepped )allowed me to conquer a difficult lane surface so my partner and I could win our associations scratch doubles tournament. THIS BALL IS MONEY !!!
