Loaded Revolver
« on: January 14, 2011, 04:54:44 AM »
Hello Troops

I have the original Revolver  and I was wondeing if the new Loaded Revolver would be worth the purchase, meaning since they both have pearl coverstocks I cant seem to think that they would be that different...thanks

I pretty much throw most name brands and like them all...
Now throwing pretty much all flavors...

The Loaded has the Propel X cover, while the Revolver has ConneXion Grip.

What I'm finding is that, with both balls in box finish and drilled similarly, the Loaded is about four-and-two weaker overall than the Revolver, on a medium house-type condition.  I'm also finding that the Loaded is somewhat less resistant to transition, while the Revolver tends to react more favorably to volume.

The Revolver is a particle pearl. The Loaded is just a pearl

Is the loaded not using the same cover as the Wicked Siege?

(from Brunswicks site)

Loaded Revolver

Coverstock           Propel X

Finishing Steps      500; 1,500 Siaair Micro Pad; Rough Buff Finish

Wicked Siege

Coverstock           Propel X

Finishing Steps      500 Siaair Micro Pad; Rough Buff

The Loaded does have the same cover as the Wicked Siege, but with the Jack core from the Revolver.

I've never heard that the Revolver has a pearl - particle cover, but I guess it's not impossible. It rolls heavy and handles plenty of oil...
