With the same layout and surfaces, the C-System should be more than the Wild Thing. This is more apparent when both balls are thrown in oil. I personally think the Wild Thing is our quickest response ball when it sees friction, but overall the C-System will be more ball, and usable on more patterns from more angles.
I think the Wild Thing is a conditional ball for most bowlers, at it's best if and when used on the right condition. The C-System will be a ball that can be used on multiple patterns from different parts of the lane. I also feel like it is one of those balls that fits all types of bowlers, whereas I find the Wild Thing to look good in certain types of bowlers hands, or for others only when it matches perfect to the condition. I say this from experience, as the Wild Thing is not one of my favorites but it is the only reason I made the cut at the World Championships. That proves the point that nearly every ball has it's place, some just have more usable places.
So, with that being said, the Wild Thing is a good ball to have as part of an arsenal that includes over 6 or more balls, and the C-System will serve a better purpose for all bowlers, especially those that only carry 2 or 3 balls to bowling and need something that will let them find a good ball reaction with limited choices.
